There are 12 participants taking part in 2018’s St Maarten Cultural Leadership Challenge in collaboration with K1 Britannia. This blog introduces six of the participants.

Jesper Fredmark – General Manager, Sweden – Stockholm
When asked about the event, Jesper said:
“I am proud to both be selected and to be able to participate in something amazing as supporting kids in need. Thank to my team, as this wouldn’t be achievable without them. All my colleagues within Sweden are the ones making sure that we deliver excellence on a daily basis.”
Mike Pires – Director, Quality Assurance and Compliance – Fort Worth, Texas
When asked about the event, Mike said:
“I am humbled by the opportunity to improve my personal skills, work with and learn from colleagues from around the world and most importantly provide charitable services to the island, especially in the aftermath of a devastating hurricane.”
Mark Reid – Chief Information Officer, John Menzies plc – Edinburgh, UK
When asked about the event, Mark said:
“I was thrilled to be chosen for such a significant opportunity. It will be a great chance to work with other Menzies colleagues from around our global network whilst helping our chosen charities and I’m really looking forward to the challenge and learning from the experience.”
Tony Pagliarulo – VP JIG Operations, Fuels – UK
When asked about the event, Tony said:
“When I received the notification from Forsyth Black, I felt honoured and very proud to have been selected for this year’s Leadership Challenge. I’m excited to get out to St Maarten and get involved.”
David Jenkins – Station Manager, Luton – UK
When asked about the event, David said:
“I am proud to part of such a once in a life time opportunity, and to work so closely with two fantastic charity partners. Not only am I looking forward to the chance to ‘grow’ during the Challenge itself, but I am equally looking forward to returning with enhanced business and life skills that undoubtedly will be formed from this experience.“
