Today our Cultural Leadership Challenge team visited two SOS Children’s Villages locations in Zaragoza, including the day centre for which they’ve all been working hard to raise funds.
The new site is under construction, and the fundraising challenge will help to raise the money needed to help it open on time.
Once completed, the Zaragoza Day Centre will provide much-needed support for vulnerable families in the area. SOS Children’s Villages’ Day Centres aim to prevent child abandonment and escalation of family issues, giving support to families in need. Day centres like the one we visited today offer meals, homework facilities, social support and activities to children and families.
