Introducing the Spain Team, Part 2

There are 11 participants taking part in 2018’s Spain Cultural Leadership Challenge in collaboration with SOS Children’s Villages. This blog introduces five of the participants.

Mary Vaughn – Training and Development Manager – Americas

When asked about the event, Mary said:

“I’m aware that training and development has a tremendous impact on the company, but I didn’t know to what extent I was specifically associated with training’s impact. It’s great to hear that someone in senior management was familiar with me and the project support and training development that I provide.”

Kyle Stevens – General Manager, Ontario and Long Beach Airports – California, USA

When asked about the event, Kyle said:

“I felt very honored and humbled to be selected for this prestigious training course and am looking forward to representing my station and region in Madrid.”

Kayla Moa – Cargo Manager New South Wales & Australian Capital Territory – Australia

When asked about the event, Kayla said:

“I am incredibly honoured to have the chance to participate in this event for such a great cause and to be able to make a difference to the children of the charity is a career highlight. I am so proud to be a part of a company which makes such a contribution to the community in running these challenges and even more so inviting the managers from around the globe to enhance and further develop their skills which we can then apply in our day-to-day roles.”

Steven Glasser – Consortium Account Manager – Dallas Fort Worth, Texas

When asked about the event, Steven said:

“I am extremely honored to have been chosen for the 2018 Menzies Aviation Cultural Leadership Challenge. I have really enjoyed working with Menzies Aviation and all of the opportunities it’s afforded me, and I am looking forward to participating in this program and using this as chance for growth and learning.”

Samantha Leaper – Regional Manager Northern England – AMI

“I feel incredibly privileged and proud to be selected, along with being very excited (and a little nervous!) to be stepping out of my comfort zone. It’ll be amazing to be part of a team whose only goal is to be the best they can be whilst helping and supporting such a worthy cause.”
